Nancy Hutchinson I nominate Michigan Cat Rescue, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that was established in 2003. It is a volunteer based charity run solely on donations. To date they have rescued 6,000 cats from euthanasia at high kill shelters and they also assist hospice patients with their cats when they have no place else to turn. www.micatrescue.org or facebook.com/michigancatrescue

Karyn Marsh www.strayanimalsmatter.org in marionville mo Cindy Miller runs this rescue with an amazing team in the stone, Lawrence, and christian county areas in missouri the animal controls do not take care of cats this is the only cats only rescue in this area . They work with tnr, feeding ferals, fliv postitive cats have special separate housing, steping in and getting cats out of hoarding situations, doing adoptions and the whole 9 yards aka lives. These cats are loved and this rescue is dedicated to reducing the feral cat population.
